Anggita dini
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In her role as Executive Director of BIJAK, Anggita Dini is primarily responsible for guiding the vision and direction of the organisation. This includes managing day-to-day operations, outreach programs and financial oversight. She also oversees BIJAK’s web presence, management and training for staff and volunteers, fundraising, and marketing operations.
Anggita Dini has an MA in English Education from the Yogyakarta State University. A passionate advocate of reflective education, she has a lot of experience teaching Indonesian, Singapore and Cambridge curriculum to kindergarten, primary and secondary school students, as well as training teachers in Jakarta and other cities in Indonesia to do the same. Anggita has also managed the academic division of an education franchise from Singapore.
Anggita is currently involved in publishing across a range of multimedia (website, digital and print) for educational institutions and legal firms.
nageeb gounjaria
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
In his role as Learning and Development Director, Nageeb Gounjaria is responsible for developing the BIJAK curriculum in a way that is entertaining yet educational. He also adapts BIJAK programs to make them more suitable for specific audiences, from schoolchildren to adults in the community.
Nageeb has a Master degree in Philosophy from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Certificate in Medical Neuroscience from Duke University, USA. He has published in a few fields including public health, foreign language learning and cross-cultural awareness.
Nageeb has lived and worked in Asia, Africa and Europe. He is a passionate advocate of logical and systematic thinking - tools that he uses in his philosophical counselling practice. He is currently pursuing an MSc in Bioethics, specialising in Neuroethics (human enhancement technologies).

In her role as Administration Executive of BIJAK, Adhe handles day-to-day operations. Her responsibilities include financial administration, events support and database management. She also assists with social media and website content management, besides coordinating with volunteers and service providers.
Professionally trained as an administrator, Adhe worked in the healthcare industries in Purwokerto before joining the education sector in Jakarta.
dr shabbir akhtar

In his role as expert consultant of BIJAK, Dr Shabbir Akhtar advises on philosophical content for BIJAK learning and training materials.
Dr Akhtar has a PhD in Philosophy. Trained at the University of Cambridge, he has lectured in universities in Malaysia, USA and the UK. He has published widely and engaged in public debates internationally on issues such as multiculturalism, interfaith dialogue, social justice and civil society.
For almost a decade, Dr Akhtar has been on the Faculty of Theology and Religions at the University of Oxford.
adan fajar a.k.a. uciel
art consultant
In his role as Art Consultant of BIJAK, Adan Fajar a.k.a. Uciel integrates art practice into philosophical discussion. More specifically, he trains participants to express themselves through the medium of art, especially drawing and painting. These artworks are then used as a backdrop to explore various issues philosophically.
A prolific and well-known artist, Uciel developed a keen interest in art while he was studying Economics at Unsoed, Purwokerto. Since then, he has experimented with various genres such as doodling, graffiti, murals, illustrations, storyboards and 3D graphic designs.
Uciel has produced artwork for Garuda Indonesia, Unilever, Grab, BMW and Mini Cooper, among others. He has won several awards in Custom Bike competitions, and his works have been displayed both locally and internationally.
